Scratched Mono 1

By Jellyfire
Although I love getting out and shooting landscape mainly, I don't get much opportunity, so I sometimes try a few still lifes at home.

I had a couple of pheasant feathers from the garden which I thought would make a good study. The background is the kitchen chopping board. Just lit with the lights in the sitting room, and using a torch and slow shutter speed to get strong sidelight on the scratchy texture of the background.
