Salford Quays 2010

By AntHolloway
My first trip up the tower at the Imperial War Museum North and at this time of year it is still open after sunset so you can go for a reflected lights shot. The panorama is made slightly harder due to the small openings to poke your camera through and the need for a steady hand on the long exposures required.

This panorama takes in the new Media City buildings, the Lowry theatre, the Lowry footbridge and in the distance the Beetham Tower.

Cheers all for your comments. Lesley, yes my processing does seem to have boosted the noise, I'll have another go Wink

Makes a wonderful nightscape Ant, shame about the noise. I get that effect with a lot of my nightime shots for some reason, which ISO setting did you use...?

Hi Caleb, it was ISO 640, but a used a clarify filter which sharpened up the noise.
