Young Soul

By wamp
I went out last Thursday morning for a play around Media City at Salford Quays since I'd noticed you could now get around there for a bit of a wonder. I knew it was cloudy/rainy/windy, but what the heck, I had the day off! Smile

It really is beautiful around there and when all of the lights come on I bet it's even more beautiful. To me the area looses something without the cranes. I know they couldn't stay, but for me they added something extra to the buildings. I'm not sure what, but certainly something.

I got a few 'keepers' and also had a good recce for another visit too.

Thanks for looking & hope everyone is well! Smile

Cheers, Sean

Good looking shot ..... the perspective created by the cloud formation and planking really draws the eye into the image.

Thanks very much Andrew, Dave and Chris Smile

It's funny really Dave, it took ages to get a viewpoint that I liked using the decking as a lead in. But I'm quite pleased with the result Smile

Great B&W - concentrates the mind on the strong geometry.

The low view point and the cloud certainly draw you in to a cracking shot and mono, yes I agree Sean without the cranes it looses something but hey they had to go sometime

That's not very nice Simon, I know he may look the sharpest tool in the box, but really ... was there any need for that??? Wink
