Warm sun touches cold stone

By AngieLatham
Last upload before I go to Scotland Smile

This was taken on the way home from last years November meet in Scotland , at Castlerigg in Cumbria. After a very dismal sunrise we at least got some nice golden light as the sun came up over the distant mountains.

Love the long shadows cast by the stones...

(Can't help noticing, but have you spelt your name wrong?? Or was it deliberate? Sorry...!)

Hehe, as long as it doesn't spell 'Barmy' your last name doesn't look too bad...

And what a great shot, with such lovely light on a good subject, and a good sky above it.

Very nice composition with good detail and colour, like the gap between the stones, makes you want to walk into the image, well captured Smile Geoff.
