a young 'Spiv' on the Severn Valley railway train showing off his wares - he said he could also supply some 'cheap Diesel' ( but that is not really 1940's chat ! )I used my Metz 45CT1 flash with my old Rolleicord- nobody noticed portable electronic flash was not invented in the 1940's!.

Hope you didn't buy a camera from him. Smile

Very good pose, especially showing off his goods

Good shot, I liked the B&W. How much did he want for the watch?

Interesting shot, but I feel the flash produces a press type shot. Ok for page five in the local, but not realistic enough as a re-creation.
Surely. I would have worked had you taken him outside and placed him leaning up against a wall, looking the part.
Still like the shot.
