Spurn(ed) Groynes!

By MrsS
Trawling deep into the archives now & realised I haven't really looked at my groynes (ooeerr missus!) since the meet Smile

So here's one to have a go at. Wink This was taken on the Friday evening in the company of Paul & Glynn. The light was quite harsh so I tried to concentrate on the groynes and the stones and pebbles on the beach.

Anyway, I'm not sure if these are any good - - all input much appreciated Smile

Had the children's Christmas Party tonight so a much needed chill is on the cards for the rest of the evening - - just a matter of hours now till I can start my celebrations in earnest Grin

Thanks for looking, please tell me what you think if you can spare the time, off to play catch-up now Smile

Cheers! (Eaglehawk Cab Sav!)

The colour of the groynes and sand under the light work nicely Fran. The shadows look good too

Hi Fran

groynes i love! not many up here unfortunately...

like the placement of foreground post to stones, works well; lovely light too and i like the shadows, also the indentations in sand in fg - from rain or spray?. did you take any which more of background groynes?

like it

You've controlled the light well. It's a splendid little cameo.

Good, but a much better shot was to be had taking a step or two to the left, the light and shadows from the groynes would have made a killer shot imho Smile
