we managed to find another fox around the corner in another part who was awake!! but not until about 3.30 though

Just to clarify for a few this is a zoo fox not a wild one - so getting close as not the tricky part - though still great that he was sleeping out the in open rather than in a den/house.

Beautiful fox in great condition, love these animals.

I sat watching a wild fox the other day hunting rabbits..out of range of any of my lenses, typical.
