Winged Dragon

By Paintman
Another Dragon upload as I've not been out to photograph anything recently.

Canon 40D
Canon 70-200mm f4
Kenco 1.4x converter
Kenco 36mm extension tube
Fill-in flash

The idea here was to use a non-macro lens with an extension tube and a 1.4x converter to increase the working distance for skittish insects. The focus was not along the axis of the DF's body so it produced a shot with 'artistic blur'Smile It may be over sharpened too.

Hi Ian,

I'm pretty sure this is a female Broad-bodied Chaser. The male has a blue abdomen.
