Model on South Beach

By Scottelly
Here's a photo of a new model I shot today. I was using my Sony A55, of course, and I was shooting in the shade during early afternoon. I had the aperture set small to get a deeper depth of field, because I find many shots have blurry parts where I don't want the shot to be blurry, if I shoot on wider apertures zoomed in. Unfortunately this was at 1/125 second, so there is some motion blur (especially in her face). Still, the quality seems pretty good to me . . . especially for a kit lens. This shot is basically right out of the camera (resized to fit in 600 pixels on the long side, of course). I have posted two crops from this shot, so you can see the details here too.
