This is a 1:1 crop of the South Beach Scene photo, just to show the capabilities of the 24-105mm f3.5-4.5 lens at a wide-angle focal length. This is not from the middle of the shot, but that is probably a good thing. See the signs in the distance. This shot might have looked sharper at a smaller aperture, because it has such a lot of depth in it. I believe I focused on the tree tops, so this guy on the bench is not quite in focus, in my opinion. I also probably should have shot with a tripod, but I rarely take one with me.
