Well.

After overnight deliberations including a glass of Aberlour this weeks challenge is;

Power Generators

Anything from a AAA battery to a wind turbine (and these bloody things are everywhere) or a Nuclear Power Station.

Anyone arrested for taking pictures of a Nuclear power station and I will immediately delete this thread.......

Usual rules;

1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. All images must be uploaded by 8pm on Wednesday
4. All uploads must be B&W (or sepia toned)
5. Only one upload per member
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week
8. Have fun

Have fun and I look forward to see the entries over the coming week.

(after my thank you post in the last challenge - bonus marks may be awarded for the most inappropriate predictive text/spell check error GrinGrinBlush)

Aberlour? Excellent choice. I had a glass of 12 year old last night.

Anyway, I haven't taken part in this challenge for a long time. Time to start again!

After what has been months of inactivity on the group due to work, Wednesday night is a difficult night for me as I finish late. I have finally had some time to do something.

With around a hour to go I've started taking a look at the entries so far....

It was a topic I wanted to use but was a little reticent as not sure how it would run.

Well I shouldn't have been. A diverse array of excellent interpritations, thank you.

And 55mins still to go

Huge apologies for not joining in this week - I kinda lost track of time this week and have only just got home from family visiting. oops...................

Well that's it - Times up.

Apologies from IL duly noted, hope food was included.

Even in their 30s my kids only seem to turn up around meal times.

Darn it! I completely forgot to upload my attempt!

Great entries - Thanks

The Gnome is amusing - at first I though the topic was gas then I read the test
Peters windmill has a great angle and tone.
Eddies torch with multiple exposures is a great shot(s).
and the turbine shot is certainly a power generator.

However Bryn Titli has not only the wind turbines but the biggest power generator locally behind the clouds.

So for nice balanced tones on the clouds, turbines and the morning sun.... it's Hugh and Bryn Titli

Really difficult choice this week. Over to you Hugh.
