OK challengers - your topic this week is to capture anything that branches. The more interesting the pattern the better. It may mean braving the weather and there may be some with access to the strange seasonal habit of erecting trees inside - but anything that has branches would suit. No excuses, failed uploads this week please!

Rules

1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. All images must be uploaded by 8pm on Wednesday
4. All uploads must be B&W (or sepia toned)
5. Only one upload per member
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week
8. Branch out and have fun

Don't know anyone called Olive - apart from her on the buses.
This is an easy challenge. My bank has branches everywhere, so a photo of the outside of one of them should suffice...

but whether it would win would depend on how interesting you can make it......

After the farce of last week, I am today 100% certain that I have uploaded this wek's image. Have also considered changing my username to oldandforgetful - or the Norwegian version, gammelogglemsk.

Good to see 2 entries so far - less than 34 hours to go to upload your branch image to be in with a chance of winning!

As we didn't get away on holiday I hope to get a shot in tomorrow (see grumpy thread).
I've a macro B&W in mind, if it works, using the same bush I entered the layers challenge with.

Bit limited as we need to be around the house but hope springs....

So sorry to hear about your insurance problems - seems completely unfair. Sad

Phil, we'll have other holidays. Wasn't worth risking travelling without cover. God forbid we'd travelled and had a problem. It was made apparent if we'd not informed them and then claimed, the claim would have been declined.

Picture taken and in. Like the bush, I'm waiting for spring.

Only a couple of hours later and out picking Grandson up from school and well, uploaded a replacement.
If I wasn't so indecisive I'd make my mind up or alternatively the auditor in me is looking for continuous improvement...... WinkGrin

Sorry, completely forgot, and it's a nice subject too. Hoping to be back to normal soon.

This time of year that could be mistletoe.
Well, I'm in with what has to qualify as my worst image yet - but entering anyway just to keep in the spirit of things.

Handheld with a camera phone which can (but didn't, for some reason) record in Raw, this image is poor quality because I've had to work from the Jpeg and didn't have the benefit of a tripod - not that I'd have felt safe using a tripod in the middle of a railway crossing!!! But at least you get the idea. Blush If time had been on my side I would have gone back for another try but hey ho.
