It is the beginning of a new year. The last of the mince pies has been devoured and the fridge is starting to relax a bit as the pickings become a little more scarce and the Beverage rack becomes a little lighter.

This week we want to get out and actively capture images of persons or people Being active! I will start tomorrowWink

1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. All images must be uploaded by 8pm on Wednesday
4. All uploads must be B&W (or sepia toned)
5. Only one upload per member
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week

I can do the 'being' bit, but will have to travel somewhere else to find the 'active' half.

Maybe John considered that some might think we have two weeks again and miss Wednesdays deadline. Smile

Ah! So it's not two images? Week one 'Being', week two 'Active'?

I could exposure blend both words together. I only got active on the last day of the last challenge even though we had a fortnight to do it. The first 13 days I was being lazy. Smile

I don't have an issue photographing someone else 'being active' Tongue

Will have to get sorted this weekend as we're off for a couple of days over Manchester on Monday.
Bonus - an A168 Diner bacon bun on the way.

I was being active today - or as I tend to say, I got my a*se in motion. Got my entry in, all done and dusted.
Just need to sort the macro challenge now...

A walk along the front and found plenty of folks on the beach (at bit brrrr....).
Unfortunately the Steel Foundry in the background hasn't been active for a couple of years now.

I did get a possible image today that I may have to use should no other opportunity present itself.

2 days to go! Plenty of time to dust off a camera, charge a battery and get organised for a new year of your favourite picture taking.Grin
Well that's mine in. Perhaps not the most original content for the topic, but there you go - too cold out there for me to spend too much time searching for alternatives! Brrrr!!! Blush

As it was a very bright sky and a very dark beach (wet, red sand), I had to adjust those two colours carefully when converting to black and white to maintain the detail in the sky and ensure the beach didn't appear too dark. Hopefully I got the balance something like right. Smile
