Restricted building site

A panorama of the fence protecting a local building site. I fancied doing a bit of magic bending. Smile

It's not perfect as it wouldn't stitch together properly and I needed to do a bit of cloning to make it at least acceptable.

Did you have the camera on a tripod, rotating about the nodal point? I've found I can stitch most things without bothering, but telegraph wires, and presumably wire fences always get breaks because the software prioritises the background, not fine details, and the parallax bites you.

The pano was actually handheld and I was rotating the camera with my hands while bracing it on my shoe.

I don't have a nodal slide and didn't have my tripod with me either.

Once it refused to stitch I knew it wouldn't and it was a case of altering settings until it turned out as close as it would. Wink

My focussing rails come in very handy for nodal slides in the field. But a tripod is essential sadly.
