Right then, after much deliberation .... the bulb holder that I used for my photo last week was from a 70 year old sewing machine, which got me thinking about old stuff generally and led me to this week's topic. It's quite wide and could include anything with a 50s/60s/70s era feel to it, from record players to fashion, from cameras to jewellery, or whatever takes your fancy.

1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. The challenge runs from 8pm on the Sunday and runs until 8pm the following Sunday.
4. Only one upload per member.
5. Please feel free to comment on the entries once judging is complete.
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final.
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week.
8. Have fun

Raided the old toy box looking for the Batmobile, but I've used that before.
Then I found my old Matchbox Stingray. Gerry Andersons Marionation series that followed Supercar and immediately preceded Thunderbirds. Have I mentioned I like Gerry Anderson series..... It was downhill after Joe 90.

So got one in, elevated against a blue background and the edited support out.

I remember saving Kelloggs packet tops to send away for the free model. It took about 3 months to turn up, and I had given up hope of ever seeing it. My joy when it arrived knew no bounds. It was in Airfix kit form, about 15" if my memory serves me correctly, and the landing module was detachable, just like the 'real thing'
I tad transfers to apply, just like Airfix ones, and I painted it and had it suspended on sewing thread from my bedroom ceiling. I must have been 10 or 11-ish...

Good afternoon everyone

Two and a half hours to go, and it's almost still light here in Devon. Summer must be on its way.

Yes, I spoke too soon about summer - according to Countryfile we're in for storms next week.

Anyway, to the matter in hand. What I really like about this week's entries are the connections that lie behind the objects, which makes the images so evocative. All great quality and lighting too, so a difficult one to call. The stand out one for me though was one I had to really think about and then I got it - maybe I should have read the title first. So the winner this week is Eddie's cassette tape - so fast forward to next week and over to you.
