New challenge time and I'm going to have to make use of my power drill and screwdriver after our son pulled the curtain's and pole off the wall.

The challenge for the coming week will be to find an interesting tool from the tool box, garden shed or wherever your tools reside and produce a macro photo of it. Smile

The Rules are:

1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. The challenge runs from 8pm on the Sunday and runs until 8pm the following Sunday.
4. Only one upload per member.
5. Please feel free to comment on the entries once judging is complete.
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final.
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week.
8. Have fun

I'm about to finish decorating and now you want me to photograph my screw drivers after I've put the door handles on.....

Hardest part might be finding where I've put my camera - we've nothing in the living room at present, new carpet due Wednesday.

At my age I might get worried I'd forgotten part of this thread.... BlushWink

However, sat in the living room on two garden chairs, with no carpet, the TV balanced on two chairs (the TV has better chairs than us) and the aroma of paint in the air I found my camera.

With the paint removed from my finger and in the spirit (level) of the challenge I'm in.

Now a glass of red (or three) before the ceilings tomorrow... And this is retirement, I could have stayed at work, my feet on the desk, and paid someone to do this.

Having to do some DIY today led me to my subject for this week's challenge.

Back once again and certainly not disappointed with both the quantity and quality of the entries. Also a week without having to pick up the camera and think of a subject and composition comes to an end. Smile

Having browsed through and viewed all the entries I have decided that the honours for the following theme falls to Philstan for "Grinder". I do enjoy the effect of sparks and slow shutter speeds and this incorporates both to good effect.

So well done to Phil and many thanks to everyone for taking part this week!! Smile

Well done Phil - I prefer your version of Grinder to the app with the same name...Wink
Many thanks, Eddie, for providing a chance to go through the tool box and cut, pierce and otherwise harm myself in the search for a suitable subject.Tongue

Sorry that your experience of Grindr has been disappointing Malc, perhaps more sparks will fly for you with Tinder Wink
