Street portrait of a vegetable vendor at the Sadar Market in Jodhpur Rajasthan.........judge not her looks as she had to very work hard, often clashing with other male vendors for vendor space & customers on a daily basis.

her looks ring a bell for a Russian novel titled "How The Steel Was Tempered" - it is about struggle between adversaries, albeit in a different historical and social context
