The Wedding 3 Shoes, flowers and a piano

By mrswoolybill
Important accessories, sitting waiting for their moment.
Sarah and the bridesmaids were staying at a farmhouse b&b just a short distance from our accommodation. The owner was lovely and allowed them the run of the house for their preparations she even rearranged the furniture to allow us more space.
These were all taken in her sitting room, where the flowers were stored. V3 is Bill's buttonhole.
These are rather important shots, I'll explain why in a day or two.
Thanks for looking,
Moira

Well I did dust the keys afterwards... Tongue
Cheers everyone.
I should explain that in V4 there was a reason for the tight crop on the flowers on the right - a large dark cupboard.

V2 & 3 are my favourites here Smile Smile
I love the single rose Moira, the aroma wafts out of the image.
A great family day I'm sure.

When a idea comes together and it works as good as this then you get a sure winner for me, as a pianist hands go hand in hand but just having the idea to put shoes along with white keys makes this simply a stunner, it all works so well and I for one love it.

I do hope for your daughter's sake that her new husband is a more competent dancer than Bill alludes to...those shoes offer no protection for her toes!Wink
A lovely set, Moira.

I've been busy working on b&w conversions, they work quite well. Thanks everyone, and John, thanks so much for your UA. I am quite pleased (relieved... ) that these are finding favour. They are important to me.

A lovely set, Moira, and clever use of the piano. v2 & v3 seem to work that much better for me.

I went to the Sony Awards exhibition yesterday and they had an image of a Chinese (I think) wedding couple and he was holding her shoes as a sign of everlasting love and fidelity.

These are lovely Moira, I particularly like V3 - the kind of images I'd like to take for a wedding, the smaller details Smile My congratulations to your Daughter & her Husband, hope you all had a fantastic day!

The very stuff of memories.
V2 and 3 are especially appealing. I like the use of the various herbs in the little bouquet. I suspect they all have a special meaning.
V1 is quite the masterpiece, and I suspect will look equally good in mono. You have an artist's eye.

All the many things that go on for a perfect wedding. And you are capturing each one to remember years down the road. Remember when we did this or that. I love that sort of thing. And I must say, they are all beautifully captured. Love V3, laying in wait.......Sandy

Lovely keepsakes, Moira, but ohhh...beautiful beautiful beautiful in V4.

Were I there I would've just stared at them. And given that cute sheep a pat on the head afterwards.
