A Summer Week in Cape May #1

Add Comment

We first started to go to Cape May (at the southern tip of New Jersey) as an extended family when my daughter Gabby was a year and a half old. Here she is at 32, with her second baby, Emma June (named after Will's grandmother and Gabby's, my mother) and born two mornings after The Insurrection. Easy to remember her birthday. IN that time, we missed two summers there, for a Bat Mitzvah, and later a Bar Mitzvah, in Israel. And, of course, last year. SmileWe rent two houses next door to each other. We had about 22-24 for dinner each night, some of us cook (I alone of those) and others clean. Dinner were always a group effort. And we made lots of bread...my bread machine and my cousin Laura. I tried to put in 50 miles a day on my bike....actuallly did about 260 miles over the first five days. Then it rained on Friday.....and only did about 10 that day after the rain. So, some of these photos off this series were with my Oly M-1 and some (on my bike rides) were with my iPhone.

I would like to thank Isabel for your UA for my dead fish photo.

Peter

What insurrection would that be? I've seen BLM and Antifa do more damage in an hour than demonstrators did at the Capitol. And, the only person seriously injured, shot and killed was unarmed who could have easily been controlled otherwise. I was in the military, my son was a LEO in NJ, and we've both seen more action at an intramural football game. But you are certainly entitled to your opinion.
