I love shooting details on rocks, it's fascinating the visual worlds you can open up when you go exploring and look closer.

This was taken on a beach as the sun was beginning to set. I set the aperture open as wide as it would go, and fired away.

The velvia captured the colours beautifully, and I used a polariser to help add further punch.

Well, you've certainly got this film malarkey down, haven't you? This is seriously good with a great use of selective focus.

As it's not a moody seascape, don't expect it to do well here, though.... Wink

Bit of a ways to go match up to your large format skills, but I'm having fun using the Mamiya, and the quality is great.

I fear you may be right, however. Wink
