Yes, perhaps a little on the magenta side, Julian. Some of the shots I've had back using Velvia have had a magenta colour cast and in most instances I've corrected for it. Decided to roll with it here, however, but I've uploaded a variant with it removed if you care to look at it (and on reflection, your suggestion is the stronger shot).
I can see why you'd crop it, Tez. I left the blurry parts there as I intentionally shot wide open to render some of the shot blurred, and hopefully leading the eye towards the sharp part of the photo.
