I hate to see this poor horse struggling to move such a heavy load, you have caught the pain etched on his face with all the effort. A very moving image, Milena. Carol

This is well taken and composed Milena, it's a shame the light was so flat.

Carol, Nev thanks for your time!
Carol, I hate too...
Nev, unfortunately it was a cloudy day with dull, flat light!

Your shots are amazing, blow the light, the shot is all about the poor horse and its terrible struggle to give man what he wants. You captured all that for an amazing piece of photo journalism. Ann

I can barely bear to see this but that's the way life is sometimes. A GE for a very compelling and difficult PJ image to see.

Another powerful image Milena - I think the flat light actually gives the shot a reportage feel and doesn't dtract from the image at all.

Another amazing shot. How are these horses after all this toil. I know they are strong animals, but my heart goes out to them....

Plenty of definition to this without needing strong light. Seems a lot for one horse to be asked to pull when there's a truck right behind it...
