This was taken from a cafe across the road on a wet and windy day at St Leonard's on Sea. This lady was the only person I saw walking along the promenade all the time I was in the cafe. I entered it in photo competition named My UK which I saw advertised in the Metro newspaper which I was reading while on my way to Focus on Imaging this year. Lo and behold it was selected for the South East of England along with 16 other entries from around the UK (from an entry of over 2000). As this type of thing doesn't happen to me very often I was understandably chuffed
. The 17 prints are being displayed as part of an exhibition being organised by the World Photography Organisation at Somerset House between 26th April and the 12th May. This is just a small part of a very large exhibition entitled the Sony World Photography Awards.
