~ "Arazi" in Lexington

One of my memorable & cherished captures of the historic Thoroughbred Champion, "Arazi," taken at "Three Chimneys Farm," in Lexington, Kentucky in July 1997. This image was taken with my vintage Olympus OM-2n film SLR with the Zuiko 50 mm f1.8 lens. I was using Kodak Gold color film (ISO 200).

"Arazi" was the 1991 2-Year Old Breeders Cup World Champion winning in an 'unforgettable great stretch run.' He is the Sire of the renown middle distance Thoroughbred, "Congaree," who placed 3rd in both the Kentucky Derby & Preakness Stakes in 2001. "Congaree" amassed $3.2 Million dollars in earning in his illustrious career. I am hoping that you like my 'nostalgic film shot' of "Arazi."~
