I love the "before", and am sad about the "after", but those flower heads are so big that the rain is just too heavy for them to stay upright. I have spent a few hours today staking up some battered victims, but I'm sure they will survive.

This clump of Peony's originally came from my Fathers garden way back in 1983, and had grown there since I was a little lad and have been transplanted from garden to garden since then. They are survivors and will survive this too Smile

well, it is the blooms and not the plant. shame to lose the flowers but there will be more to replace them. that must have bee quite the downpour, well captured before and after.
