" I Ent Ded !!!! "!

By Imageryonly
Thanks to the late Terry Pratchett for the title.

I found this little fellow soaking wet on my patio. I picked him up and put him in the warm Sun in a safe place Grin
Then commenced one of the most interesting 1/2 hours I have ever experienced Grin
He rolled on his back and I thought I had failed to save him. Then I noticed he was moving and looked harder.
He was grooming himself, and continued to do so for nearly 1/2 hr.
This frame was at the end as he turned back and flew away,
The versions are all during his grooming.
Amazing!
Wish I could put a slideshow up so you can see his movement.

Excellent set, it always amazes me how they can look dead and come back in a short space of time.

i did this with a hummingbird that exhausted itself trying to get out through a sky light and eventually collapsed. But how great it does feel when you can help nature along just a little. Love the title! And you got some super shots!

Not always wise to interfere with nature. So pleased the bee had a happy ending and flew off. I am similar to you I will watch a spider make a nest or crawl about on flowers looking for prey. Or watch tadpoles and critters in the pond. Glad you gave it a helping hand to dry off in the sunshine. Debs
