~ Nocturnal tipples ~

By KKmoments
Another 'toying' around shot..... playing with focus, soft box, external flash and things with all manner of props and try this just for something different..... any comments/tips/hints would be welcomed as I don't usually do this sort of stuff but felt I should 'try' as these camera mags keep telling me how to use the 'buttons' I thought I should 'try'...!!!

Straight from cam (no crop) and given some 'tones'.... thought this felt like a night shot hence the title and the colour was influenced by the drink!!!

Hope you all had a good w/end

Karen Smile

I was thinking how the colours were saying "coffee ", then read your little comment, so something has worked....
I like this a lot...great composition & wonderful presentation.
I could almost become a coffee drinker because of this image.

Only bit I would change would be to turn the cup to the right just a taddy bit-- My marginal brain had to puzzle out what it said, love this shot as is-- really did not have to read the cup-- , wish it weren't so late, making me hungry!

Tremendous work Karen and 10 out of 10 for giving it a go.
Have to agree with Jennn on the coffee cup to a certain degree, but like the mystery as to what is says, something lover? Adds a tone of procavativness to it (does that sound right??????) Also i would have liked to have seen the front cup fully in the frame, mirroring the back cup, then i think the comp would have been 100% IMHO.
Hope this helps Karen and thanks for sharing your talent.
