Another super shot. While the first of the series remains my favourite the eye contact here is less direct, the half-obscured eye with the pupil visible and in focus suggesting a reserved yet confident and inquisitive character. Very skilful pose, photography and processing.

Although I still like the first one best, this one is beautiful too.
And no, I didn't take the skull home; the 40D with lenses was quite enough in my backpack Wink

Looks like this may be an unpopular view, but I'm afraid I think you've ruined this by overprocessing. The whites of the eyes in particular - by overbrightening (or perhaps you've simply erased all the detail?) just look completely unnatural. I find it difficult to get beyond that as it's as extreme as I've ever encountered.

There probably is a very good shot in there and I'm not against retouching by any means, it just needs to be a lot more subtle. Sorry to seem so negative.

Thankyou for your comments, Chrisv..I dont feel that it is an unpopular view I think its an honest view and in part I agree, This is something quite new to me and I am still learning the processing process., So thankyou for your comment and I will take your thought onboard and see how I can use it to improve in the future
