The bird soaring free, the grasses reaching up enviously? Could sit and look at this for hours and see new ideas. Love it.

So glad you avoided the banal title that people choose nowadays (begins with 'up') as this is a little masterpiece, even though I still don't know what a whatstamatic is Smile

Just excellent. You get a very specific quality with this bit of kit and you're capturing exactly the most suitable subjects with it.

I like the feel of this one too and I particularly like that the bird's flying out of the image rather rather than into it. Seems to fit with the mood somehow.

Good to see a bird today and thanks for your suggestion about birds in my flower images. Who knows, I might just try it sometime Smile

Bit late checking in. My father in law was round for dinner - we had a nice roast chicken and the odd glass of wine.

Thank you all so much for your time with my pictures and thanks Pete and the Epz team for my award..

The best photo I have seen on this site and if I am right in thinking this is a photo from an iPhone then it proves the camera doesn't make the photographer.

Beautiful photo. I have Hipstamatic on my phone too. It's a great app and you have done really well with this - it's not the easiest phone camera to use.

Thanks Hien & Mavis. Yes Moira - it's a great app. The camera has its limitations but you have to work with what you have and try and get the best out of it. I find this the fun part. Thanks again for all your comments and clicks ect. Have a good evening

Deserves all the awards and more. Taken with an iPhone makes it all the more amazing. Very special indeed.

Maybe not with an iPhone but using the app?

Thanks Doug for your time sorry for the very late reply , you are very limited with what you have no aperture and shutter choice and you have to use what you have and its only 5mp camera to boot the app does help , but it was a challenge to see what i could do , thanks again for all of your time..
