1900 years on and still vibrant.

College of the Augustals Herculaneum. The vibrance in this room is stunning. Interesting things to take into consideration are the way the blocks (bricks) are laid in a diamond orientation, the lower bricks are slim and similar to modern ones, also you can see the end of the charred roof timbers.
