23 Kirkgate, Thirsk, North Yorkshire is now a museum but was where Mr. J.A. Wight ran a veterinary practice alongside Mr. D V. Sinclar. Alf Wight is the world-famous author of the famous James Herriot books. This beautifully restored 1935 Austin Seven Opal is on display in a mock TV studio at The World of James Herriot and was the car that was used in the TV series “All Creatures Great and Small.”
