1940s Couple and Shadows

By dark_lord
I almost uploaded this yesterday as it ws taken at the same time and place but there are some shadows here so kept it fopr today.
A couple in 1940s US officer and civilian dress at the Severn Valley Railway 1940s weekend in 2002. Canon EOS 3, Fujichrome RHP3 400.
I know the framing is a little off Sad

Don't sweat the framing, it adds tension and compliments the RH side. What a cool idea this is. We need this kind of energy and creative thinking on my side of the pond. Kudos.

They'd flatten anyone who got in their way. Somehow I'm not sure that the 1940s were as well fed as this...
I just love the way the ladies dressed in those days. Lovely. Pam
