Buy a Seiko Perpetual Calendar; I think it calculates months correctly and adds an extra day in February every four years for the next 200 years. Alternatively you buy a Rolex with a magnifying glass over the date display box so you adjust dates promptly.
Once you grow old and the eyesight gets worse you don't mind if you lose a day...you get worried if you lose your life.
I think you should have included the crown of the watch in the picture and use a mirror to reflect sone of the light onto the warch to light the watch so you shoot it .

Thanks Isabel...always nice to get positive comments.
pablophotographer...thanks for the suggestion on watch...I was being a bit 'tongue-in cheek' though...as in i wouldn't buy a watch with a date as shown because they go out of sync too easily and are a pain to keep adjusting!
Fully agree i could have taken some better compositions etc...but I only took this one shot of the watch ...as a spontaneous one having finished shooting some flowers. Never intended taking the watch at all.
Having said that I was quite pleased with the subject matter so might take some more shots as an intentional shoot in which case i'll play around with background, lighting, composition a bit more.

Karlo
