2017 the year of the Fart, the Tyrant and the Despot.

By colijohn
My predictions for 2017.

Donald Fart (Trump) will announce ( via Twitter) that the head of the CIA has been fired and replaced by one of the Russian hackers
who hacked into the Democratic party's servers. The new CIA chief will report directly to Vladimir Putin who will in turn pass on an amended
version (via Twitter) to Donald Fart.

Vladimir Putin will annex Alaska simply because most of the polar bears are Russian speakers. Donald Fart has no objection, 1. because he's in the mean time
begon a amorous relationship with Putin and 2, Donald doesn't like cold climates and there's not industry, so ****, he couldn't careless.

As for Recep Erdogan, he'll arrest the whole of the Turkish nation so that nobody can say anything nasty about him (it's agains the law you know). After that
he'll ask the Fart and Putin if he can join them and make a threesome. Blush

This isn't art, it's political ranting. Post this somewhere else, please.

Nothing political about it, just poking fun at our political elite.

It's definitely not a "rant" - it's a valid image and posted appropriately in my considered opinion. Nicely composed colijohn
Sorry Colin, but as much as I dislike the individuals you mention, I don't think your image warranted the text.

I am not a fan of any of these gentlemen but I cannot say this image is not "art". Equally, I don't think I would hang it on my wall, even though I totally agree with the sentiment that, "all tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent." I am personally sad that the Original Poster has resorted to name-calling, but President-elect Trump demonstrated during his campaign (as have numerous other children down the ages), it is an effective tool.

As to whether the image belongs here, this is not a public forum, but a private business we all enjoy. The suitability of the image is a question only the site owners/organizers can decide. IMHO, the posting is less offensive than censorship. [Always assuming that there is no copyright issue with using those portraits. But that is a technical question not an artistic one.]

One of the core values in Britain (so we keep teling ourselves) is freedom of speech.

This is what freedom of speech looks like, Rest of the World. We can say what we think of our own political leaders, or of yours, or anyone else.

Colin's saying nothing that hasn't been suggested before, in satire programmes (we have programmes on our 'state' radio and TV channels that mecilessly rip the @#!$ out of our Prime Minister, and even our Queen, who has been nicer and more diplomatic than is actually feasible for most of us, for longer than most of us have been alive. It's really hard to find anything genuinely bad to say about her). This makes us stronger and better - and we are so bad and weak at some other stuff that we really need it!

In other countries, people fight and die for the right to post things like this. It actually matters: and by protecting our right to speak freely, we also protect the right of the people who would restrict what we say and do, by letting them speak freely. And if they say stupid things, and people notice, that's good for democracy and freedom.

I'm just sorry you missed the Dirty Digger (Rupert Murdoch, who owns far too much of our press and broadcasting) off the list, Colin...

Thanks John for your comment and support.

You mentioned that I missed the Dirty Digger. To be honest if I was to make a list it would have to include all the lying, irresponsible and corrupt career politicians all over the world that don't give 2 shites for you or me who voted them into office, they only care about their own personal agendas and filling their own pockets.

So for you and me and all the millions of ordinary men, women and children all over the world, my prediction for 2017 is that we must all look forward to a BIG FAT NOTHING. Maybe even worse than that.

Thanks again John.

Colin.
