255/365. "John Stow" - author of the 1598 'A Survey of London'. Stow's bust in St Andrew's Undershaft Church in The City holds a real quill pen, and this pen is replaced with a new one by the Lord Mayor of London in a triennial (every three years) ceremony in association with the Merchant Taylor's Company.

Another one of the quirky things, that go on in London! An excellent carving in marble. I suppose the pen was a bit difficult to carve?
