"255 on the Causeway Stones"

By DavidLaverty
A lovely day on the North Coast yesterday and some quality time with my youngest son mountain biking in Ballycastle Forest. A great day led to a beautiful evening so my wife the dog and me headed out to the Giant's Causeway and down to the stones this time. With the weather being so good the place was crawling with people and finding a nice composition without someone standing in my frame was a big challenge, I can see why lots of photographers opt for sunrise here rather than sunset. Anyway, I settled on this spot and waited for the sun to set. A long exposure here of 255 seconds with the ND1000 filter fitted along with a 0.9 hard graduated filter to balance the light in the sky.
