This pheasant was having a senior moment, (I have them a lot too). I was able to sneak up and get within 5 metres from it, after a few minutes it stirred and I let it walk away, so it would not get a fright. The lens is a 50 - 200 f2.8 - 3.5 from the old 4/3s system, but can be used on my EM1 via an adapter, because it has hybrid contrast/phase autofocus. It is a bit slow focusing in compared to modern glass, but still better than my manual focus abilities. A great choice in the low light conditions of woodland and best of all only cost me 100 from cash converters.
