Not my kind of topic, however a stunning picture. I cant give it higher praise than to say I would not have been surprised a few years ago to see my grandmother doing a 5000 piece jigsaw of this shot Smile

ps thanks for your regular comments on my work as well

Super - I love the light inside the buildings. Well captured Rich.
The beautiful crisp clarity of this image lifts the trains out of the steam and smoke.

The giants of raw power never tire of these machines the light has brought it to life so well and a nice composition to include the shed and the other engine's and the shafts of light through the steam and smoke inside the shed...a pleasure to view for sure

Excellent depiction a Loco sheds, you've captured the atmosphere superbly. I used to live near Newton Heath Loco sheds in North Manchester in the early 60's.

Surprised that you sound disappointed with the light. Before reading your comment, I was impressed by the light -- I think it is just wonderful.
Very impressive how you were able to balance the morning light on the engine with the light back in the engine house.
Nicely done. Is this a single exposure?
