48/52: The last of the 'shrooms?

By sherlob
Err... no fungi grow all year albeit autumn is easily the best time to find them.

I'm going to catch up on the processing of my 1/52 project in the next few days - its about time. It could be said that as the project required an image to be taken, processed and uploaded each week I've failed. However, as the only one setting the rules is me, I've decided I'm cutting myself some slack - I've ensured I've taken an image each week albeit the processing has often taken me considerably longer.

This was my first venture out with the camera following a short admission to hospital with a covid related complication. It was taken in Stanney Woods near Ellesmere Port and the walk and hunt for 'shrooms damn near saw me off - very few specimens were up to muster. I was utterly knackered by the time I was done! Not my best work, but I've learned through the process and I quite like the result.

I hope your weekends have gone well...

Adam

Hi Adam,
so good to see you out and about, even if the effort tired you out, I bet you feel refreshed by the fresh air?
Things can only progress from here, and I wish you all the very best,

A very nice clump of fungi here, with a brightly matching background.
It's nice to get out and about. Best wishes.
