"73 Jazz"

Good evening all,

Thank you for your comments and votes on my Rickenbacker yesterday - many which made me laugh out loud, you gave me the impression you quite liked the image so I thought I would share another one with you from last weekends session.

(Here comes the technical bit) - it's a 1973 Fender Jazz Bass - the focus of the image is of the machine heads. The finger board is made of Rosewood and the body is made of Ash. I was lucky to get hold of it as it spends many months on the road being one of Mr B's favourites. The strings once again are his trade mark Elites 30, 50, 70, 90 to give that all important low action!

Great shot Heather , detail is nice on the strings and logo , also the dof is great really gives the shot style , one minor negative point might by slightly over exposed spots on brass work , kind of loose the texture of the metal where this has happened , maybe 2 exposures blended to avoid it, this is minor point .
