Good Day to you all at ePz

Thank you for taking the time out to view, comment and vote on my previous upload 'Red Line'

Todays image was captured today whilst out and about on the beach looking for inspiration. The groynes may not appeal to everyones taste, but I find them quite interesting especially when then have been weathered and eroded by the ebb and flow of the sea.

I hope that you have a great day today whatever you may be getting up to.

For me I shall be venturing out with my camera if the weather promises to be good, otherwise its a good book and a tub of Cadbury's Rose's.

Regards Nathan GrinGrinGrin

HI,

I like groins too, but they can be difficult to achieve a good composition. You have succeeded admirably over the last day or two. I especially like this monochrome one.

kind regards,

Kurt

I really like the b&w version. The frame on it is a little strange but the image is very good. Do like colour too.

As you say the weathering from the constant battering from the tides results in interesting textures patenting the surfaces, and the B and W shows up perhaps the better that detail, but for me it's the colour version with the greenish film on parts of the timber and the rust patches that appeals the more, together with the limited soft colour palette.
Habe a good day, Nathan.

What a difference the colour makes. From a rather menacing, dark image to a soft one. But either way I like both pictures today.
