Just got back from an excellent day at Cadwell Park.

Carl Harris decided to bin his bike in front of us and in the process has injured his finger...but doesn't seem too bothered if he has it chopped off!

Anyway this is my first ever attempt at motorsports photography and it was a very steep learning curve. I was however quite happy with this one - let me know what you think....

Never know it was your first Rich.

I'm going to the BTCC at Silverstone next weekend (courtesy of work!), and if I get anything approaching this, I'll be a very happy man!
25 Aug 2008 9:45PM
now I'm jealous martin, I love the BTCC - not sure what silverstones like for photographing though, I'd imagine you'd be quite far from the track. Cadwell surprised me with how close you can get to the action...along with the huge hills and virtually no safety barriers for the crowd!

Excellent bit of panning Richard, spot on focus. I've never tried this but I imagine it to be very difficult.

So you decide to opt for another early start, then! Wink

Well worth it, too, judging by this one Smile
