a bench...a tree... in infrared -3-

Greetings.

I had a very eventful and exiting day today.

It has been the Spring Equinox today, the time in which there is an equal amount of sunlight to night darkness. It is a time of balance, promise and planting in the Druidic and Pagan history.

So today I set out on a pilgrimage that combines to great ancient stone circles, Avebury and Stonehenge to arrive in time at Stonehenge for the Spring Equinox ceremony of Alban Eilir.
It was a misty and pretty cold in the morning at 5:30am but our spirits where high, so we had a joyful ceremony and celebration.

As planet well beforehand I meet up with Gareth (VanillaPenguin) at the ceremony.
We both had the honour to be received into the Loyal Arthurian Warband (L.A.W.) among other, to be put under the sword of Britain to join the ranks of this Druid Order.

Despite the freezing cold weather, the misty sunrise and my now sore feet I had a fantastic day full of excitement and joy.

I have not come across many images which have been captured/processed using this technique and therefore I am some looking at your image blindly. What i do see those is a wonderfully atmospheric, eerie and quite magical composition which has been very well crafted indeed.
