A very old joke: and hte biggest basket I've ever seen on hot air balloon. Coming over a rise in hte road, I saw the top of the envelope above the trees, so we went to have a look...

It is the simplicity of this composition that appeals to me - the rural stonework below, and the higher tech , and captured at just the right height to effect.

A wonderful image, having been on many hot air balloon flights. they are great although the landing can be a bit rough sometimes

I believe they are filled with hot-air, so this could be an opportunity, for our Houses of Parliament to bottle it, and make a contribution to reducing the National Debt?? Good capture, John, as red always shows up well, especially against a blue sky.
