A broken window.

By franken
In 2014, I uploaded an image of this scene although it was from a slightly different angle.

Upon my return over the weekend, I find that the window is still broken.

This is Torre Abbey that's to be found at Torquay. It's an interesting place and has lovely gardens.

Unusually for me, I prefer the colour version on this occasion.

It's really a good frame for the image, Ken. Old glass, even plate glass, does a good job of softening what is observed through it; here the effect is more than a little nostalgic. A sweet image.

The sniper's viewpoint? Slightly disturbing, slightly voyeuristic, very good.
