A Cairn's Birdwing / Female (Ornithoptera euphorion (best viewed large)

Also known as the Cooktown Birdwing or the Northern Birdwing
Indigenous to South East Asia and Australia.
Cairn's Birdwings are large, with wingspans up to 6", and the average body length is 3".
They need to breed quickly upon emerging, because their life expectancy is only 4 - 5 weeks.
All Birdwings are now listed by CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species.)
The female has black striations on the body, and its wings are white, yellow and black, where the male has no striations on the body, and teal, yellow and black wings.
