A cats life!

By kathrynlouise
Oscar in a chilled out pose in front of the wood burner. Tried to clone out the flash but couldn't quite get it right so if anyone can help please.
Bored, while waiting for workman so looking through my pics.
Any critique as always greatfully recieved.

A warm and cosy scene! Thank you for allowing mods, I've taken it into Photoshop Elements 9 and just tweaked here and there. Most of it was 'cloning' (I've cloned the white edge off (right hand side) and taken the pattern off your wallpaper (just to tidy the image up a little). A small tweak in lighting levels. All very minor and basic (I'm not that good at photoshopping!).

Decent shot. Flash really needs to be off camera to prevent this kind of flare, so it's potentially difficult. The dog is a bit over lit and needs a bit of burning in - in the exposure sense.

Looks a lot like a Cougar, - but its due to relationship in size between the cat and the fireplace. As Bren mentioned, its a small fireplace, or a huge cat.

Which is it?

Karens mod works well for the fire.

Hiya Willie. He's an average size cat and not an overly big woodburner i didn't think. Will upload the original as a mod Wink

Thanks Kathryn, - that still looks like a large cat to me! I am used to fireplaces similar to this here in Canada that are usually quite large, so for me an optical illusion, - and Cougars are not that unusual either!

Adjusted image in a similar manner to the other mods, also added a small degree of clockwise rotation to correct the verticals and gave it all a slight crop....
