A change of direction

By losbarbados
I've been looking at HDR for a while now, mostly with envy. I thought I'd pick out an old shot of mine from last years college project (hence the size), give it a go and see what happens. Here's the result.
Image made up of three layers, +1 and -1 exposure on the original, then added the grunge filter in photomatix.

Please be kind yet constructive, it's my first real go!

Good effort if not a little over done you have some halo effect around the trees and quite a lot of noise but a excellent subject so keep taking the medicine and keep up the good work Smile Smile

Do you know what I need to turn down? to reduce the halo?
I think the grain may be partly down to bad data going in.

forget about halos and noise - so what?

You say it's your first attempt? I say very well done.

Go and compare your image with my first attempt. It should make you make you feel better! Smile
