A crab's eye view

I was just playing about with the camera here, down on my hands and knees on an empty white beach, wondering what a crab would see Smile
(Well I thought it was empty until I spotted a dog walker on the cliff giving me strange looks Grin)

I like this a lot! it's creative and fun with lots of detail in the sand and the sparkleing sea at the back...the shadows are good too

A Great Idea you should take further.

Firstly, I've had many folk approach me to see if I'm okay when they've spotted me lying still in a bush shooting macros. It's often best to acknowledge them with a quick wave.

If you've easy access to a beach you could shoot almost anything you can place there and score an incredible backdrop. Just think, you can have different lighting as the day progresses and by changing from a wide angle to telephoto the background advances forwards.

Get to it and we'll happily watch on in envy.

Clever work, Helen. Reminds me of my childhood seaside holidays of sandy sandwiches, donkey rides and bathing in the freezing North Sea. Yep! I'm an oldie!
