A DAY A THE RACES

Arrived completely jet lagged. Had a short rest and went to the racecourse for one of the highlights of the year in remote Kununurra: the Ladies’ Cup at Kununurra Racecourse on the last Sunday in August.

Horse number 5 won the last race. All the jockeys were women.
This coming series will be about some wild, remote and unspoilt places in the northern part of Western Australia.
